Elaine (Whittemore) Foytik played women’s basketball at SCC from 1994-1998.  She is the second leading scorer (1235 points) and second leading rebounder in VU women’s basketball history.  During her career at SCC (104 games) she averaged 11.9 points and 8. 3 rebounds per game and had 31 double-doubles, second in program history.
Elaine was the first female basketball player at SCC to be selected as the GSAC Player of the Year and she led the women’s basketball team to its first berth in the NAIA National Basketball Tournament in 1997-98. 
 
Elaine and her husband Chad live in Norco and have two children.
