The VU Sports Medicine is dedicated to providing quality athletic injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation to student-athletes. This is accomplished through a team approach, utilizing Athletic Trainers, Physicians, Physical Therapists, and other Allied Health Professionals. With the support of the institution's Athletic Department, we are committed to using all available resources to provide the best health care for the student-athletes. Our philosophy is one of professional excellence as we adhere to the standards set by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) for the Athletic Trainers.
The Sports Medicine Clinic is located on the first floor of the Freed Center for Leadership & Service and is best accessed by using the rear door of the building, the closest one to the soccer and softball fields.
With five Certified Athletic Trainers on staff, Vanguard employs visionary and advanced athletic treatment methods and is aggressive in education to provide the best health care for our student-athletes.
