COSTA MESA -- Vanguard STUNT attempted to take down undefeated Cal Baptist Tuesday night, but the Lancers prevailed 27-3.  CBU improved to 11-0, while VU dropped to 3-6.  The Lancers took the first 10 points of the matchup, as they swept the first quarters of partner stunts and the second frame of pyramids and tosses.  VU got on the board on routine one of the third period of jumps and tumbling and got two points in the fourth quarter of the combined acts. 
 
 
What's Next?  The Blue and Gold got to the Jessup Tournament and face a new program, Fresno Pacific, up first on March 5 at 7:30 p.m.
