RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- Vanguard STUNT's season finished tonight at Cal Baptist, as VU fell 25-1 to the still undefeated Lancers.  The Blue and Gold end the 2026 slate with a record of 10-15 a few days after a fourth-place finish at the West Tournament.  The squad showed spirit in its final effort, as the collegiate careers of Casey Clements, Jolie Yniguez, Trinity Coffey, Alexandra Gamez, Isabella Villarreal, Destanie Saunders, Jasmine Bernal, Brooke Harris, and Isabella Long came to an end.  Playing for the graduates, VU did its best to take some thunder from the top team in the sport, but the Lions scored their lone point in the fourth quarter of the combined routines, with the Lancers taking the rest.  The returners will come back in the fall semester and began preparations for the first official conference season in program history, as the Pacific West Conference opens its first STUNT season.  Expect more details on the first PacWest Tournament to come from the conference near the turn of the calendar year.
