COSTA MESA -- It is a record-setting year in the classroom for the Vanguard STUNT team, as the squad received 20 College STUNT Coaches Association Academic Honor Roll selections. Released by the CSCA Wednesday, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA above 3.50 and have at least 24 units/credits completed at their current institution to be eligible for the award. This comes off the heels of program-best 3.44 team GPA at the end of the 2024-25 school year, giving the lineup plenty to celebrate over the summer. The Lions ended tied for fourth nationally with 20 recipients, level with CBU. Alma College & Michigan State tied for second with 23 honorees and Kentucky lapped the field with 41 student-athletes on the list.

Two majors, nursing and psychology, tied with four winners apiece, with kinesiology and liberal studies next with two each. In addition, there was an even split between repeat honorees and those making their debut on the list. Former Head Coach Leslie Allen ends up with 66 Honor Roll selections over her duration as head coach and relayed her pride in her team doing so well in the classroom as individuals and as a team this season.
