COSTA MESA -- The College STUNT Coaches Association (CSCA) announced the All-American Teams for the 2025 campaign and five Vanguard players were selected to the honor roll.
Alexis Jimenez and
Ysabella Hernandez were put on the First Team,
Alize Banuelos was named to the Second Team, and
Jazmine Cervantes and
Jabrea Fowler were inked to the Honorable Mention roll. To be a STUNT All-American, a student-athlete must participate in all four quarters of a STUNT match and play in at least 50% of all of a team's matches.
It is a momentous selection for Jimenez, as the senior becomes the first four-time STUNT First Team All-American in program history (2022-25). Another senior, Hernandez, has also been on the All-American list in some form the past four years, and this is the second time she has been a First Team honoree. Hernandez got to the top team in 2023, was a Second Team selection in 2022, and was an Honorable Mention last year.
Senior Banuelos grabbed her second laurel on the Second Team, with her last appearance being in 2023. Cervantes (senior) and Fowler (sophomore) made their first appearance on the list.
"We are so proud of the athleticism and leadership these Lions gave all season. This is a well-deserved recognition," said Leslie Allen.
