NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The season for Vanguard STUNT unfortunately ended today at the hands of Davenport (Mich.) at the 2025 STUNT DII Division National Tournament.  The Lions competed hard but could not counter the Panthers, who won 15-1.  The Lions scored their lone point in the opening period of partner stunts, but were not awarded a routine victory after that.  The Lions conclude the campaign at 8-13 and seniors Ysabella Hernandez, Jazmine Cervantes, Alexis Jimenez, and Alize Banuelos played in their final game at VU.
"We have been trusting in God's plan for us this whole season, including taking us into Nationals this past week," said Melea Altermatt.  "We are proud of landing in fourth place and we are thankful to the Lord for his guidance and provision over our team all season."
