NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Vanguard STUNT is still in the game at the 2025 STUNT DII Division National Championship as the Lions took down Dallas Baptist 16-12.  The Lions, improving to 8-12, will move forward to face Davenport at 2:25 p.m. Pacific Time, while Dallas Baptist ends the year at 16-4.
 
What Happened?  Vanguard tied DBU in the first stanza of partner stunts, as each team snagged three points.  But the Lions stormed into the lead in the second period of pyramids and tosses, as VU grabbed a 3-1 decision in the quarter to lead 6-4 at intermission.  The Patriots wove the game tighter in the third quarter of jumps and tumbling, taking the third frame 4-3.  But the Blue and Gold were stronger in the long routines of the fourth quarter, as Vanguard conquered the period 7-4 to take a 16-12 victory.
