ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Forty-five Vanguard student-athletes earned distinction as 2023 Golden State Athletic Conference Fall Scholar-Athletes, honoring their outstanding achievement in the classroom.

Fall sports recognized were Men's Cross Country, Men's Soccer, Women's Cross Country, Women's Soccer and Women's Volleyball.

To qualify for the award, an athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically and must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 or greater.

VU women's soccer tied for the most honorees among GSAC schools with 14 selections, while men's soccer led all schools with 13 designees. Eleven women's volleyball players received the accolade, as did five from women's cross country and two more from men's cross country.
