Undoubtedly, Dodge will go down as one of the most fierce competitors to ever wear the Blue and Gold with an impact that stretched well beyond the stat sheets that she usually stuffed. The Libero was a brick wall yet again this season for VU, seemingly stopping every opposing attack at times. A prime example of this came in the first game in the new Freed Center versus APU. Missing her fellow captain in Cole due to a last-second injury, Dodge put up a tremendous effort with a season-high 34 digs. She led the team in digs at 344, and she set a new personal best in digs/set at 3.82, solidifying her nickname of "Digging Dodge". In that APU game, however, her service skills were also on full display, as she had an incredible service run in the 3rd set. VU was down 23-18, in danger of being swept, but Dodge's fire sparked a comeback to help VU take that set 27-25, sending the Freed crowd into a frenzy that had not been seen since the Pit. Her number of aces reached 25 this year, and she also had over 100 assists in a season for the second time in her career. Her 104 assists were good enough for third on the team this year. One of the more underrated parts of her game was her uncanny ability to track the flight of opposing serves all the way to the last possible second, helping the Lions induce their opponents into 215 service errors. Dodge was incredible across her 109 matches, and she finishes with over 1,000 digs.

My dream job would be an ESPN sports analyst.

Do you have a pregame ritual or superstition? Any reason?
Every time I serve receive I have to touch the end line before I do it and if I play badly in a hairstyle... I'll never wear it again.
