2024:
Olbur's final season for Vanguard was memorable. Olbur's presence in the middle was briefly interrupted by a nasty ankle injury to start October, but she quickly worked her way back to still play in 20 matches. She had the fifth-most kills on the team with 118, but easily led the way in blocks at 65. Part of those 65 roofings were 12 that she did on her own, as she was the only VU player with more than four solo-blocks. More impressively, she limited the mistakes by only accounting for 2 blocking errors, tied for least on the squad despite the higher-volume. The heralded 'tower of terror' was great as the season wore on, helping VU to a 5-2 record in the month of November. In fact, she had 29 blocks in the month; by far her most in a single-month this season. That includes a season-high seven at home versus Jessup. She also had 5 consecutive double-digit point games in November, compared to her 2 across September and October combined. This season, Olbur picked up 32 digs, which was her most, and she displayed her full repertoire as evident in her performance from behind the backline. After only having two career aces coming in, Olbur smashed that number by putting up 14 this year, including her last one that came in the raucous 5-set bonanza against CUI. For a player that came in amidst the uncertainty of the pandemic, Olbur made certain that her presence was felt at every opportunity.

It would be cool to play under Olympic Coach Karch Kiraly and the current Olympic volleyball team.

You can have dinner with three people, real or imaginary. Who are you having dinner with?
Taylor Swift, Freddie Mercury, and my mommy.

What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
We took a trip a long time ago where we spent 22 days traveling all of California from top to bottom in our trailer with like 10 people and 2 dogs. We got to see a lot of cool national parks and fun places.

You are the headline act at a show, who is opening the show for you?
I'd say Taylor Swift but people would leave when she’s done.

Do you have a pregame ritual or superstition? Any reason?
I always do my hair while we are getting ready for the game because it’s fun to get ready with my teammates and we all usually help each other.
