2024: Playing in 15 games and starting in 13, Penick played 945 minutes. She helped VU play Chaminade to a scoreless draw by being tenacious for a season-high 82 minutes. She was third on the team in both shots-taken (12) as well as shots-on-goal (seven). Her SOG% of .583 became her new bench mark for a single season. Her lone goal came in the game at Jessup, as after she set up a goal for Kaitlyn Currier, Penick potted her 10th career goal. She sparked the offesne with two assists at Menlo on October 31 to end the year with five points.
2023: Penick was mustered into service in nine games with seven starts, as some injuries hurt her season. She still logged 569 minutes and reached at least 40 minutes of action in all but one game. She scored two goals, one at home against Midland and one on the road against Hope International, with assists coming at home to Saint Katherine and on the road at Life Pacific. Penick tabulated 18 shots and put seven on goal, giving her a 38.9% shooting percentage.
2022: Starting and playing in every game, Penick was a force for the Lions. She paced all players with seven goals and seven assists, good for 21 points. She ranked in the top 10 in the GSAC in goals (tied for seventh), assists (tied for second), points (seventh) and shots (third). She was named an All-GSAC Player and the Freshman of the Year for the conference as a reward. She finished with 64 shots, 31 of which were on target, and played 1,355 minutes, hitting 90 minutes three times. While the first game of the season against Soka did not give her any stats, Penick would get in the book with a shot or point in every game the rest of the way. Her nine shots at home against La Sierra was a season-best, while she twice had five shots on goal. In back-to-back games, against Corban (Ore.) and La Sierra, Penick scored two goals, a season-best, and she two assists in games against Trinity Christian and The Master's in the GSAC Tournament.
2021: Did not feature as a member of the Cal State Los Angeles program.
HS: Earned All-CIF second-team honors and was named to the All-League first team twice. Was also a league Player of the Year and earned a CIF Final sportsmanship award. Was named the Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Earned the English Department Excellence Award. Took second place in the league finals in the 800 meters. Was on a CIF championship and league championship team.
What is one food you could eat for the rest of your life, what is one you would destroy from the earth, and why?
I could eat ice cream for the rest of my life. Mayo needs to be eliminated from the earth.

Watching the chargers games when they were in San Diego.

Opening a door into my head and getting a concussion.
