2025: Yamashita made her defensive presence known her debut collegiate season where she played and started in all 16 games for the Lions this season tallying a total of 1414 minutes as a Freshman! Yamashita played 90 minutes in all but one game this season where her fierce defensive presence earned her starting role and place in the team. Without being carded, Yamashita made her presence felt on the field. Yamashita has definitely showed glimpses of potential moving forward into her collegiate career. 


What is an extreme sport or activity you would like to try?
Whitewater rafting!

If you could work as an actor/actress, what lead role (from any movie, TV show, or theater show) would you take and why?
I would want to take the role of Anne Hathaway in the movie the devil wears prada because she plays a role of a very ambitious and intelligent lady that is not scared to go after what she wants which I think is very inspiring.

Would you rather be a pirate or a ninja, and why?
A ninja because they seem really athletic and coordinated.

What is an amazing thing you have done with your family?
Go hiking together:)
