2024: In Caira's first year as a Lion, she was put to work immediately. The Freshman played and started all 15 games, while logging 1,320 minutes-- just nine shy of the highest on the team. Caira was able to get active on offense as well, taking three shots with one of those coming on goal. Defensively, Caira was stout for a Vanguard team whose best performance was arguably when they limited the ferocious Point Loma Sea Lions to just one goal. Caira herself played good, clean defense, committing only four fouls and never being carded all year.


What is one food you could eat for the rest of your life, what is one you would destroy from the earth, and why?
I love pasta and could eat it every day! I hate olives because they are so bitter and gross!

What show did you binge-watch most recently?
America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders

If your major were a reality TV show, what would it be called?
Keeping up with the Kinesiology students.

What is your favorite memory of watching a sporting event, either in person or on TV?
My favorite memory was this past year when I went to the USC vs Notre dame football game with my fam! I have a big family and we're house divided so it was a lot of fun! We tailgated and I had a really yummy hot dog!
