2025: Swanis made her presence known on the defensive end this year for the Lions featuring in 16 games, starting in 7. Swanis manged to end the season with no cards to her name, only a strong defensive presence to show. Swanis played a total of 788 minutes this season as a Sophomore with glimpses of further potential as her collegiate career continues. 

2024: Swanis made an immediate impact in the program, starting and playing in all 15 games for the Lions.  As a freshman, she led the team in minutes played at 1,329 and played the full 90 in 13 games, including her first seven contests. The defender helped lead a Vanguard side that held opponents to one or fewer goals in 11 of 15 matches. Swanis played good, clean defense, only picking up seven fouls and one caution. She had a few moments offensively, taking four shots including two at home versus Redlands. 


What is an amazing thing you have done with your family?
I have hiked a glacier in Alaska

What is a weird food combination that you really like, and why?
I like salad on top of pizza because it’s a mix of both worlds

Would you rather be a pirate or a ninja, and why?
A pirate for the treasure hunts and living life on the ocean

If you could work as an actor/actress, what lead role (from any movie, TV show, or theater show) would you take and why?
I would like to play Fat Amy in the movie Pitch Perfect because she has the best comedic timing and she’s so relatable

What is your biggest pet peeve?
Slow walkers
