2024: Swanis made an immediate impact in the program, starting and playing in all 15 games for the Lions.  As a freshman, she led the team in minutes played at 1,329 and played the full 90 in 13 games, including her first seven contests. The defender helped lead a Vanguard side that held opponents to one or fewer goals in 11 of 15 matches. Swanis played good, clean defense, only picking up seven fouls and one caution. She had a few moments offensively, taking four shots including two at home versus Redlands. 


What would you give a TedTalk on, even if no one asked for it?
I would give a TedTalk on retail therapy even if no one asked for it.

If your major were a reality TV show, what would it be called?
I think it would be something like “Athletes who won’t let sports go” because a lot of people in my major are athletes and want to work with athletes or in physical therapy in the future.

What is the dumbest way you have gotten hurt?
I was fighting over a hula hoop in pre-school with this little girl and she let go so I flew back in the concrete and cracked my head open. I got the hula hoop though so, no regrets.

What show did you binge-watch most recently?
I binge-watched Love Island recently!
