Biography

Parents: Josh and Amree Madsen

Birthday: September 20, 2003

2024-25: Madsen continued to see growth in the scoring department, inching closer to double-digits per game this season (9.5). She also set new marks in total assists, steals, blocks, and FT% from seasons prior. For the second time in her career, she shot 37.4% from deep in a season, although this time around she did it on a significantly higher volume (64 more attempts than prev.). That clip put her in 4th in the conference, one of three Lions in the top quartet. Madsen hit 20 points for the first time in her career, doing so twice, including a career-high of 24 (8-13 FG, 6-9 3PT) at Hawaii Pacific to open the New Year. Her Menlo performance on Senior Day was the other occasion (20pts, 5-12 3PT, 5-5 FT) She started every game for the second straight season.

2023-24: Madsen's second season saw her minutes increase to 25.8 per contest. She scored 8.6ppg, 3.3rpg, and tacked on a steal just about every outing. She scored exactly 17 points four separate games to set her season-high. Madsen had three games with at least five triples. 70% of her total field-goal attempts were from downtown, hitting on 33% of her threes. She started all 24 contests.

2022-23: Madsen's first year saw her start three of 26 games, hitting on .374 of her attempts from deep (only .001 behind teammate Faith Boss for the team lead). She averaged 5.8ppg, with her first career game being a 11pt-6reb performance. She hit four triples in back-to-back games in February finishing the season with four such instances of 4+ from distance. Her best game came in the opening round of the National Tournament, going 5-11 from three against LSU Shreveport, finishing with a then-career-high of 18pts. Her high in rebounds was seven at OUAZ.

What is one food you could eat for the rest of your life, what is one you would destroy from the earth, and why?
I could eat chips and salsa for the rest of my life because it’s impossible to get tired of and I would destroy olives because they are disgusting

What is your record for the game “chubby bunny” or how many marshmallows do you think you can put in your mouth?
7?

What would you give a TedTalk on, even if no one asked for it?
Probably on the Paul Mescal, Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abram’s, and Daisy Edgar Jones lore. I know too much
