The athlete:  Lindsey played high school softball at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa…garnered CIF Woman of the Year, Athlete of the Month, and All-CIF awards as a senior in 2001…member of Olympic League Championship teams for three seasons…played multiple positions in high school for Coach Dave Rolph…bats right…throws right…good foot speed and softball fundamentals…versatile player who will be ready to step in where she is needed this season…will need to adjust to collegiate competition…team player with a great attitude.

The person:  Lindsey was born in Fountain Valley, California on April 12, 1983…parents are Joe and Donna Dyer…has a younger brother…goes by Dyer…freshman in the Athletic Training program…sports hero is Kurt Warner…likes to eat Italian food and spend time in the mountains…roots for the NY Yankees…favorite movie is “Return to Me”…would like to meet Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra…has learned that apart from God, life stinks…playing softball has taught her about dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship…desires to be a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Her thoughts:  I came to Vanguard to get a good education and play softball at a Christian university.  I enjoy hanging out in the Athletic Training Room.
