2026: Walker had three fewer hits in her third year, but hit .373 and earned All-Conference Second Team honors. She paced VU in every category, with an OBP of .429, seven doubles, four triples, one home run, 19 RBI, and 14 stolen bases on 19 attempts. She also drove her strikeout rate to the floor, as she struck out only five times in 51 games (50 starts). She had 16 multi-hit games, with her high being three knocks in a game, which she accomplished twice (at home vs. Hawaii Hilo, March 21, & at home vs. Biola, April 25). Walker had a nine-game (Feb. 10 - March 10) and a seven-game (final seven games of the year) hitting streak during the campaign, and she tallied two RBI in a game twice, while her three at home against Chaminade on March 28th being her single-game best in 2026. She had two stolen bases in a game twice in 2026 (against Colorado Mesa and Hawaii Pacific on March 23) and hit over .300 as the leadoff hitter. Her average placed her ninth in the conference at the end of the regular season, with her .429 on-base percentage landing 14th and her .490 slugging rate in 15th. She placed seventh in hits, 16th in runs scored (30), fifth in triples, 16th in at-bats (153), and seventh in stolen bases. On defense, Walker had a career season for fielding percentage (.972), putouts (116), and errors (six), while also snaring 95 assists.Â
2025: Leading the team again in almost every category, and having the 12th best BA in the PacWest, Walker was overlooked during the All-Conference voting. She hit .355 and recorded 60 hits, 13 doubles, five triples, one home run, and 27 RBI. She stole 15 bases on 16 attempts and had an OBP of .410. She had at least one hit in her first nine games for her longest streak of the year, and she had 14 multi-hit games, with another 4-for-4 mark in the final game against Menlo being her best. She had six multi-RBI games, with three at Chaminade (game two, April 11) being her best. She also had two games with a pair of doubles. Walker had a .952 fielding percentage in 229 chances in 2025.
2024: Walker emerged as one of the best players at Vanguard, as she earned the GSAC Freshman of the Year award and was selected to the All-Conference team. She led the team in batting average (.420), hits (68), RBI (41), OBP (.484), and triples (seven). She ended the regular season with the third-best batting average and the third-most hits, while leading the GSAC in triples. She started and played all 55 games for VU, and got her first two hits during the second game on February 1 against ERAU (Ariz.). That was the first of 20 multi-hit games, with two 4-for-4 games (April 6, Menlo, game one / April 13, HIU, game two) being her best of the season. She clocked hit streaks of 10 and eight games, and over three games in February (2/15-26), she went 7-7. She had her first double on February 10 at Pomona-Pitzer, her first triple against Westcliff on the 15th, and her first two home runs against Jessup (game one) on March 16. She had 13 multi-RBI games, with three games of three RBI being her best. She went 19-for-22 stealing bases, and concluded with a .960 fielding percentage.

I would eat chocolate chip cookies for the rest of my life and I would have peas removed from the earth.

What is your favorite memory of watching a sporting event, either in person or on TV?
My favorite memory watching a sporting event was probably whenever I got to watch the Killer B’s (2018 Red Sox outfield) dance after they won games at Fenway Park in Boston.
