Valerie finished playing for the Lions last season after garnering All-GSAC and NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards during her three-year career. She begins her first stint as an assistant coach with the program. Valerie has coached at the high school and travel ball levels and has a strong desire to coach. She works very well one on one with players and hitting is her strongest area.
Valerie attained her undergraduate degree in Exercise Sports Science last spring, and is currently in the credential program at Vanguard. She has a full-time teaching job at Liberty Christian High School and is assisting part-time with the VU softball program. She is single and lives in Costa Mesa.
