COSTA MESA, Calif. - The Lions (3-3,0-2) faced off against the #4 Warriors (5-0,2-0) for the second time in 72 hours, and despite a change in location the outcome was the same. Westmont swept the match by scores of 27-25,25-14,25-17.
What Happened? The opening set saw Vanguard give their strongest knockout punch attempt to upset the highly ranked Warriors. Vanguard held set point but was unable to convert as Westmont rallied off three straight points to take the victory.
