The athlete:  Krystal begins her collegiate career at VU…2002 Downey High School graduate…played for Coach Andrea Sims at DHS in the San Gabriel League…team’s Best Offensive Player…All-League player…also played basketball and water polo in high school…has played volleyball for four years…quick and agile athlete…solid overall player…outside hitter and defensive specialist…may spend time a the libero position as well…good jump serve…good ball control and knowledge of the game…needs to adjust to new competition level…will earn playing time as a freshman and be a big part of the future of Vanguard Volleyball.

The person:  Krystal was born on September 30, 1984 in Whittier, California to her parents Norman and Jeanne Lee…has an older brother and a younger sister…plans to major in Exercise Sports Science…likes to eat lasagna…favorite movie is “Zoolander”…loves the color blue…favorite number is 12…enjoys watching the TV show “Oblongs”…favorite place is Malibu…hobbies are wake boarding, snow boarding, skiing, and playing water polo…would like to meet Ben Stiller…believes that moral deterioration is the biggest problem in the world…likes the unity on the 2002 Lion volleyball team…playing volleyball has taught her to have self discipline…wants to become a teacher.
