The athlete:  Jaclyn enters her second season at Vanguard after a solid freshman year…played in 82 games as a freshman…graduated from Tri-City Christian High School in Vista, California…played for Coach Gail Malone at Tri-City in the Coastal League…team MVP and Tri-City Athlete of the Year in 2002…helped lead TCHS to a league championship in 2002…honor roll student…three-sport high school athlete…played club ball for North County and Hard Rock teams…has played volleyball for six years…competitive spirit…athletically talented…is an exciting player on the court…plays at the highest level…look for Jackie to be an impact player in 2003…has a great future with the Lions.

The person:  Born Jaclyn Rae Lee on September 6, 1984 in Vista, California…parents are Gary and Lona Lee…oldest of three children…teammates call her “Jacks”…will work towards a Bachelor of Science degree…loves to eat tortilla soup…sports hero is Michael Jordan…favorite movie is “Dumb & Dumber”…likes the color purple and the number three…roots for the Minnesota Vikings…hobbies include working out, going to church and hanging out…would like to meet Mother Theresa…feels the biggest problem in the world is apathy…has learned that life is short so live it to the utmost potential God gives…competing in athletics has taught her to have perseverance and discipline…want to become a good mother and a nurse.

Her thoughts:  I decided to come to Vanguard because of its Christian standards and good reputation.  I really like the volleyball girls and the coaching staff.
