The athlete:  Jaclyn enters her first semester at Vanguard after graduating from Tri-City Christian High School in Vista, California…played for Coach Gail Malone at Tri-City in the Coastal League…team MVP and Tri-City Athlete of the Year in 2002…helped lead TCHS to a league championship in 2002…honor roll student…three-sport high school athlete…played club ball for North County and Hard Rock teams…has played volleyball for five years…competitive spirit…athletically talented…will improve with collegiate experience…will play multiple positions as a freshman…has a great future with the Lions.

The person:  Born Jaclyn Rae Lee on September 6, 1984 in Vista, California…parents are Gary and Lona Lee…oldest of three children…friends and teammates call her “Jacki” for short…will study Communications at VU…loves to drink Starbucks coffee…sports hero is Kurt Warner…favorite movie is “Grease”…likes the color red and the number three…roots for the Minnesota Vikings…hobbies include working out, going to the beach, and spending time with her boyfriend, family, and friends…would like to meet Jesus…feels the biggest problem in the world is that people have lost their morals…has learned that she needs to have balance in her life…competing in athletics has taught her to have endurance.

Her thoughts:  I decided to come to Vanguard because of its Christian standards and good reputation.  I really like the people and the atmosphere.
