Parents: Josh & Noelle Hill
Birthday: July 6, 2004
2025: "Hill with the Kill" was once again a familiar refrain echoing inside the Freed Center this season. She played in 89 sets across 24 matches, setting career-highs with 189 kills on the campaign along with eight assists and 48 digs. Her 50 total blocks (four solo) were just shy of the high-mark she set in 2022 with 51. The nursing major was sure to help the Blue and Gold, especially late in the season with a stretch of four-straight games with double-digit kills. Included in this run was the season-high 14 kills at Biola. Interestingly enough, the 14 kills there makes it her season-high in each of her four seasons with VU. Just four days after the Biola fixture, however, Hill had 11 kills on .526 Attk-% to help Vanguard to a road-upset over #2 Point Loma. Hill had 10 games where she hit over .300, including an astounding .733 against Menlo on September 19 (11 kills).
2024: Hill saw an increase an increase of 22 more sets played compared to a season ago, and capitalized from her 'oppo' spot. Her 169 kills were good for third-most on the team despite not starting and not being top-three in total attacks. Defensively, Hill had another improved year in the digs category, this time eclipsing the 40-mark for the first time in her career. At the net, she tied Cole for 5th-most blocks on the team, but she was largely mistake-free as her two blocking errors were tied for fewest on the team. Hill's season was filled with good performances, as she had double-digit kills in four matches, including a season-high 14 on .423-hitting at APU (that road contest also featured her season-high in digs: four). On Halloween, Hill started a seven-game streak of five-plus kills that was only interrupted by the sweep over Academy of Art in the finale. This was her second such streak of the season, as she had a longer one of 10 earlier in the season. One of her more underrated games was the five-set victory at Fresno Pacific where she dominated the net with her season-high five blocks while matching her high-mark of four digs.
2023: Hill concluded the year with 168 kills on 385 swings for a .283 hitting percentage. She bettered her kills per set rate from her first campaign, as she earned a 2.47 mark. She posted 34 digs, one more than 2022, and had two solo blocks and 26 block assists. She had seven matches with 10 or more kills and had a season high of 14 three times against Menlo, Life Pacific, and Hope International. She had a season-high five digs against Texas Wesleyan and had three block assists against Menlo in both the home and the road games. An injury right before the the GSAC TOurnament took her out for the season and the run to the NAIA Championships.
2022: Played in 31 matches for Vanguard as a freshman and had 186 kills on 490 swings for a .182 hitting rate. Her totals placed her fourth on VU in kills and kills per set while landing fifth in hitting percentage. She chipped in 33 digs and helped stuff opponents with 42 block assists, which was tied for fourth on the squad. Hill had a season-high 14 kills in the GSAC Tournament against The Master's and had four other contests with 10 or more kills. Her best game at the net was her first, as she helped make eight total blocks against Viterbo.
High School: Was the league MVP her senior year and a Coast-Character Award Winner at Calvary Chapel HS.
