The athlete:  Stacy transferred to Vanguard from Colorado State University…graduated from Air Academy in Colorado Springs in 2000…four-year varsity soccer in high school…played for coach Diane Shuek at Air Academy in the Metro League…two-sport high school athlete…has played soccer for 12 years…begins her collegiate eligibility this fall with the Lions…will add depth at the goalkeeper position…team player…aggressive shot blocker…works hard to get better every day…will definitely be an asset to the team.

The person:  Stacy was born in Lansing, Michigan on September 30, 1981 to her parents Brad and Paula Britton…oldest of five children…all of her siblings are involved in soccer…majoring in Exercise Sports Science…sports hero is Brianna Scurry…loves to eat Chinese food…favorite movie is “Tommy Boy”…likes the color blue and the TV show “Law and Order”…hobbies include reading, lifting weights, and going to movies…favorite number is 10…would like to meet Richard Simmons…feels the biggest problem in the world is greed…likes the heart and work ethic of the 2002 Lions women’s soccer team…seeks a career as a Medical Doctor.
