The athlete:  Olivia was a three-sport athlete at Grand Island High School…all-conference and best defensive player…played a season at Catawba College in North Carolina and a year at Houghton College in New York…Honorable Mention All-America honors at Houghton…All-Region Defender as well…athletic central defender expected to make a big impact for the Lions.

The person:  Born in Kenmore, New York on October 5, 1980 to Bob and Barb Fick…majoring in Exercise Sports Science…likes Ben and Jerry’s low fat brownie fudge ice cream…sports hero is Michael Jordan…roots for the NY Yankees…believes the biggest problem in the world is poverty…would like to meet John Lennon…enjoys snowboarding, playing the guitar, and playing basketball…athletics has taught her about determination, mental toughness, and teamwork.
