The athlete:  Kayleen made the All-League team three times in her career at Brethren Christian High School…three sport HS athlete…BCHS soccer MVP her final two seasons…outside defender…aggressive player with relaxed and flexible personaliltiy…will add depth to the VU defense…looking to gain collegiate experience.

The person:  Born in Anaheim, California on August 9, 1983 to Allen and Nancy Howard…friends call her Kay…has two older brothers…plans to major in Education…loves sourdough bread…favorite TV show is “Whose Line is it Anyway”…is a fan of the Italian National Men’s Soccer Team…has learned from life that no problem is ever something to focus on…believes the biggest problem in the world is the focus on image and worldly success…sees herself as a High School Teacher, Counselor, or in Youth Ministry.

Her thoughts:  I wanted a Christian school not too close to home but not too far away either.
