The athlete:  Jordan is in her second season with VU…was an All-GSAC, All-Region, and NAIA Honorable Mention All-American in 2001 for the Lions…four-time all-league player at Newport Harbor High School…transferred to Vanguard from the University of Louisville where she played two seasons…MVP as a freshman...experienced and extremely gifted goalkeeper…team captain with great leadership qualities…has the capabilities to make the big save to keep VU in tight games…committed player…good size and athleticism…expect more post-season honors in 2002…undoubtedly will be an X factor in games this season for Vanguard.

The person:  Jordan was born in Costa Mesa, California on May 1, 1981 to Don and Donna Fredriksen…one of six children…senior in Sociology at Vanguard…likes to eat pizza and ice cream…favorite TV show is “Seventh Heaven”…sports hero is Michelle Akers…likes the colors blue and yellow…enjoys reading and going to the beach or the movies…favorite number is 22…would like to meet Julia Roberts…feels the biggest problem in the world is poverty…has learned that God is in control of her life…playing soccer has taught her that hard work pays off and that you can do anything with Christ.

Her thoughts:  I transferred to VU because it is close to my family.  I really enjoy my teammates.
