Jeff returns to the Lions for his second season as an assistant coach for both the Men's and Women's soccer teams. Schofield, who played for Randy Dodge at UCI from 1996-1999, will have several duties once again at VU. Among those duties, Schofield will assist in recruiting, the organization of practices, scouting, and game analysis.

Jeff graduated from UCI with a B. A. in Sociology in 2000, and then continued his education at Azusa Pacific University, where he earned his M.S. in Physical Education in 2006. He also has his teaching credential from National University.

Jeff is the Head Coach for Marina High School Boy's Soccer, and is also on staff at the Wolfpack Soccer Club. He led MHS to CIF in 2002, the same year he won Marina High's Coach of the Year award. Though he has experience at the high school level, Schofield looks forward to gaining collegiate coaching experience.

Jeff and his wife Sara live in Santa Ana, California.
