The player:  Amber returns for her third year as a Lion…was a two-sport athlete at Makua Lani High School in Hawaii…two-time MVP for her soccer team…made great improvements as a sophomore…second leading scorer returning from the 2001 team…very athletic player…has played soccer since she was 10 years old…graced with a great touch on the ball…shows consistent progress…will challenge for a starting spot in 2002…works well with teammates…forward with good foot speed…solid soccer skills…her competitive fury earns respect from everyone on the team.

The person:  Amber was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 15, 1981…parents are Thomas and Catherine Waddle…has one sister…teammates just call her “Waddle”…studying Psychology at Vanguard…enjoys watching the TV show “Friends”…hobbies include surfing, playing the guitar, and photography…favorite movie is “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”…likes the number two…misses being at her home in Hawaii…likes the energy on the 2002 VU soccer team…would like to meet Brad Pitt…believes the biggest problem in the world is that the concept of love is tainted…has learned that life is short and you shouldn’t take a single breath for granted….in the future she wants to counsel and work with children.
