Vanguard University

The athlete:  Alexsis begins her third season on the Vanguard team after redshirting in 2001…played soccer and ran track at El Toro High School prior to attending VU… graduated from ETHS in 1999…has played soccer since she was six years old…played her entire collegiate career at Vanguard…speedy forward…scrappy player…brings experience and leadership to the team…returning to make her mark after a year off…seeks to focus on fulfilling her potential as a senior.

The person:  Alexsis was born October 20, 1981 in Anaheim, California…parents are Brett and Toni Behrns…has two younger brothers…nickname is “Lex”…senior in Sociology at Vanguard…likes to eat spaghetti…favorite movie is “The Bodyguard” and the TV show “ER”…sports hero is Mohammed Ali…roots for the LA Lakers…favorite color is red and number is 13…enjoys spending time at the lake…would like to meet Abraham Lincoln…feels starvation is the biggest problem in the world…has learned that hard work pays off…playing soccer has taught her to have discipline…desires to be a Social Worker that works with abused children.
