Biography
The athlete: Jaclyn begins her first season with the Blue and Gold?comes to VUSC from Troy High School in Fullerton?was a part of a very storied program with coach Kevin Kiernan in the Freeway League and CIF Division 2AA?voted her team's Most Improved player?received the Sportsmanship Award and Most Inspirational Senior Athlete?helped her team win four CIF Titles, three State Championships, and four Freeway League Titles?also played softball and ran track and field for THS?played four years of club basketball with Coach Davis' Swish program?.has played basketball since she was six years old?great athlete?can rebound, defend, and shoot?knows how to win?will be a great addition to VU's depth?will play mostly the off guard position?adds depth to a very strong VU lineup in 2007?will be looking to earn time and experience on the court?expect to see her contribute some as a freshman?should have a strong future with the Lion program.

Her thoughts: I selected Vanguard because of the people, the atmosphere, the location, and the basketball program. I like that I am growing in my faith.
Coach Davis' Comments: I have coached Jaclyn for several years on the Swish club team and am really blessed that the Lord brought her here for college. She will have a great collegiate career.
