2025: Abarca featured in 18 matches, starting in 13, allowing him to be one of nine players with over 1000 minutes for the Blue and Gold. He scored his first career goal at Cal State East Bay in the opening five minutes, which was the difference. He followed that up two days later at Cal State Monterey Bay with his last of two goals on the season. That match also saw him play the full 90 for the first time.

2024: Played in three matches for San Diego State, tallying 87 minutes, 64 of which game against Utah Tech.
