2024:
The season did not go as planned for Hernandez, as he was marred by a hamstring injury that slowed him down. He was only able to play in 10 games, starting in 3, but had to come off of the bench for the majority of the back half of the season. The defender did come through for the Blue and Gold against Fresno Pacific, tallying an assist in the 43rd minute to Anthony Hernandez-Perez that sparked the offense en route to a 2-1 win. He had a season-high 65 minutes vs. the Sea Beggars of Providence Christian. Hernandez finishes his Vanguard career with 2 points, both assists, and 14 shots.
