The athlete:  Jeremy begins his second year at Vanguard…played in 15 games as a freshman…scored one goal and tallied two assists in 2005…came to VUSC from Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California…2005 EHS graduate…played for former VU standout Josh McLeish in the Sunset League…EHS’s Defensive MVP…Second-Team All-League player…also played for the NHB Futbol Club…has played the game for 15 years…versatile…could see time in the midfield or on defense…competitive attitude and a teachable spirit…good speed and skills…gained valuable experience as a freshman…voted VU’s Most Improved Player in 2005…hopes to make a bigger difference in 2006…expect to see more from Small in his sophomore season.

The person:  Jeremy Mychal was born on July 2, 1987 in Fountain Valley, California…parents are Jerry and Ann…has a younger sister…nickname is “Smalls”…is a Business major at Vanguard…favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant…loves to eat burritos… enjoys watching “Family Guy” on television…likes the movie “Half Baked”…likes the color blue and prefers the number three…cheers for the Los Angeles Lakers…enjoys surfing, skiing, and spending time in Hawaii…would like to meet Michael Jordan…thinks that the conflict in Iraq is the biggest problem in the world…has learned from life to have fun…competing in soccer has taught him to be tough…would like to become a rich Businessman.
