The athlete: Giovanni journeys all the way across the country to join Vanguard after graduating from North Salem High School in North Salem, NY…was All-League and All-Section award winner in 2005 & 2006 for Head Coach Ron Hendrie…has played soccer for eight years…played in the Super V League for Quickstrike and the Eastchester Patriots…has a great first touch and a lefty that is able to beat a player one-on-one…going to be a big part of the left side in the future.

The person: Giovanni was born in Oceanside, CA on June 25, 1989…father Miguel…has an older brother and sister…majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy.
