Vanguard University

The athlete:  Bryan is a first-year student-athlete at Vanguard…will use a redshirt season in 2006…graduated from Reseda High School in 2005…played for Coach Jose Mejia…midfielder who played club soccer for WV Samba for five years…has played the game for ten years…will use his first season at VUSC to prepare for  his collegiate soccer career…expect to see more of Gonzalez in years to come.

The person:  Bryan Ulises Gonzalez was born on September 7, 1987 in Los Angeles, California to his parents Rosendo Gonzalez and Maria Perez…has an older brother and a younger sister…wants to major in Psychology…likes to eat seafood…loves the movie “Scarface”…enjoys watching “Family Guy” on television…likes the color blue and the number 23…is a fan of Real Madrid…favorite place is Morelia, Mexico…spends free time playing soccer and play station 2…would like to meet his sports hero Ronaldo…likes that his VU team is a unit…has learned from life that hard work pays off…competing in soccer has taught him about unity…would like to be a Counselor or Psychologist.

His thoughts:  I came to Vanguard to study Psychology.  I really like the people and campus.
