Parents: Benito Hernandez & Modesta Perez
Birthday: March 5, 2005
2025: Hernandez-Perez played in five matches, totaling 79 minutes. He had two shots with one coming on goal, all against Westmont.
2024: The sophomore forward's role grew tremendously from last year, going from four games to 12 contests. He started in two
games this season and in his first game of the year, he scored his first career goal, assisted by Jojo Hernandez, as Vanguard won 2-1. His second career goal was a game-winner in what was arguably the PacWest game of the year at Dominican: a back-and-forth affair with tremendous drama that saw VU escape with a 3-2 victory courtesy of the 82nd minute left-footed touch from Hernandez-Perez that went far-post and in. He took four shots (tw on goal) against Providence Christian, which is his single-game career high. He had 16 shots, nine of which hit the target, which was tied for second on the team, and he had a solid SOG% of .563. He did all of this while only playing in 351 minutes-- by far the fewest on the team amongst qualified players.
2023: Hernandez-Perez appeared in two games in his first season at VU, playing in 49 minutes. In his first game, he got his only shot away, and though it was on-target, it did not find the twine.
