2024: Hay earned PacWest Goalkeeper of the Year in Vanguard's first year as a member of the conference and the NCAA-Division II. He earned a 7-4-3 record (yielding one game to Senior keeper Alex Felix) with five shutouts. Arguably his best game was at Azusa Pacific when he faced 18 shots, but none broke through as his three-save effort allowed Vanguard to escape with a 1-0 win. He followed that up with a five-save effort versus Hawaii-Hilo on 14 shots faced, again allowing VU to win 2-0. Then, his Halloween game at Menlo was an apparent treat for Vanguard, as his 4 saves on a season-high 19 shots faced allowed the Lions to salvage a 0-0 draw. He had 46 saves on the year, with a season-high 6 coming in VU's 3-1 win at Biola.

2021-2023: Was a member of the Cal Baptist Lancers.

HS: Was a three-time captain for Palos Verdes Peninsula High School and was named a league MVP as a sophomore.  Beyond the that, Hay was a two-time tennis doubles All Bay League finalist and a part of a men's volleyball team his junior year that won the CIF Championships.

What is your record for the game “chubby bunny” or how many marshmallows do you think you can put in your mouth?
My record was 25 when I was younger I haven’t tried it in a while though.

What is your favorite memory of watching a sporting event, either in person or on TV?
My favorite memory is watching Freddie Freeman hit a grand slam in the MLB finals.  Other than that I don’t really watch sports.

What would you give a TedTalk on, even if no one asked for it?
The ability to sound like you know what you’re talking about when you really have no idea.
