2025: Alvarado's season saw him bring home plenty of accolades, including the honor of being the PacWest Player of the Year. The Midfielder started all but one game, leading Vanguard in goals with nine, putting him at 6th in the Conference. His first multi-goal game came against Dominican in the final week of the regular season, netting two in the 5-2 victory. He scored the game-winner in the pivotal matchup on Senior Day vs Menlo to secure the two-seed in the Conference Tournament for the following week. The Montclair product also had four helpers spread throughout the season, including the 6-1 drubbing at Westmont. Alvarado also was named to the CCA West All-Region First Team along with being a Third-Team All-American. In addition, the CSC named him to the Academic All-American Third-Team. Alvarado became the 13th Academic All-American in department history and the first from the men's soccer program.

2024:  Alvarado was an integral piece for Vanguard offensively this campaign, logging the fourth-most minutes for on the squad (914). He led the team with 28 shots and 11 on-target volleys.  Arguably his best effort of the season came on the road at Biola (W, 3-1) in late October where he had a four point outing, putting one in the net while also assisting on the other two VU goals.  For his performance in this game, he won the VU Male Performance of the Year Award.  He ended the year with four goals, two assists and one game winning goal.  He played over 60 minutes in all but three games.
