The athlete:  Shane is a journeyman senior who played last at Biola University…MVP of his team in high school and was an All-State selection as well…while at Biola, he led the GSAC in scoring with 24 points per game…MVP for the Eagles…posted career-high of 47 points and 15 rebounds during BU days…point guard originally from Indiana…great basketball fundamentals…physically strong player who does not shy away from contact when driving to the basket…smart guard with good understanding of the game…versatile and strong enough to help at other positions as well…competitive nature will keep the Lions in the close games.

The person:  Shane was born in Hollywood, Florida…majoring in Sociology…sports hero is Shaquille O’Neal and he loves the Lakers…favorite place is Venice Beach…likes to eat Lasagna…enjoys playing ping pong and watching “People’s Court” on TV…favorite movie is “Rush Hour”…would like to meet Pam Anderson…feels the biggest problem in the world is greed…likes the potential of this year’s Lion team…has learned from life to prepare for the future…athletics has taught him about discipline and teamwork…would like to become a Lawyer in the future.
