2023-25: Howlin redshirted the 2023-24 season. In 2024-25, he started 3 of his 18 appearances. 22 of his 40 rebounds were offensive. The center had 16pts be his high-water mark with Utah Tech going 8-for-12 in 11 minutes versus Whittier. He had three blocks on two occassions, versus South Dakota and Southern Utah. 

2021-23: At Fullerton College, he did not play his first year due to injury. However, 2022-23 saw him start all 33 games, averaging 5.4ppg, 6rpg, and 1.4bpg en route to a CCCAA Championship. He rejected 2+ shots in 14 diferent games, with a career-high five against ELAC. He had 6pts, 10reb, and 3blks in the championship victory over City College of San Francisco. 

2019-20: Howlin's college ventures started at Jessup University where he played in 27 games, starting in one-third of them as a freshman. Averaging 4.3ppg and 4.1rpg, with highs in those categories being 19pts on November 2nd and 12 rebounds on October 22nd. He ranked 7th in the GSAC in BPG and 9th in total blocks. 

HIGH SCHOOL: At La Habra High School, he averaged 15pts/10reb as a senior.
