The athlete:  Mark transferred to VU after playing two years at Canada College for Mike Legarza…was an All-League player at South San Francisco High School where he averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds per game…holds his high schools shot block record…also played football in high school…extremely competitive post player with great leadership skills…anxious to do all the thankless work in the paint… good defender…will add strength and depth to VU’s rebounding and defensive game…expected to step in and make an immediate impact for the Lions.

The person:  Mark was born in Hayward, California to Frank and Diane Devlin on May 18, 1980…you can call him MD…majoring in Business…sports hero is Jerry Rice…would like to meet Michael Jordan…loves pizza and the SF 49’ers…feels the biggest problem in the world is hate…likes the talent on this year’s team…athletics has taught him hard work and determination…has learned to not look back on past mistakes…wants to own his own club in the future.
