The athlete: Jeff joins the Lions after redshirting in the Spring of 2004…transferred from Chaffey College at the end of the 2003 fall semester…two-time scholar-athlete at the junior college level…all-conference player as a sophomore…played for coach Jeff Klein…brings needed size to the Lions at 6’8”, 215 pounds…will provide excellent inside presence on defense…worked hard in the off season and made major strides in his game…very well-rounded student-athlete…contributes on and off the court…very focused in the class room…look for Jeff to contribute in a big way this year.

The person: Born on February 22, 1981 in Ontario, California… son of Brett and Donna Henry…has a younger sister Jennifer, who also plays hoops…is pursuing a degree in Business at Vanguard…enjoys eating Pizza…watches “The Simpsons” on television…favorite sports hero is Magic Johnson…would love to meet former President George Bush…likes reading the Bible…favorite color is green and number is 45…biggest problem in the world is society’s continuing acceptance of more and more sin…life has taught Jeff all about relationships, most importantly the one with God…best thing about this year’s team is the talent…would like to become a pilot.
