Vanguard University

The athlete:  Ian is a junior transfer from Santa Rosa Junior College…played at Simi Valley High School prior to SRJC…also played volleyball in high school…comes from two winning basketball traditions…strong player with good size…largest Lion on this year’s roster…will help Vanguard take up some room in the paint, offensively and defensively…very coachable team player with a great work ethic.

The person:  Ian was born to Eric and Julie Boys in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 10, 1980…has chosen Psychology as a major…favorite player is Michael Jordan but he roots for the Philadelphia 76’ers…loves to eat pizza…enjoys going to the beach and playing the guitar…would like to meet Jack Nicholson…feels the biggest problem in the world is laziness…has learned that life is not going to wait for you…athletics has taught him that you can do more than you think you can…wants to become a Clinical Psychologist.

His thoughts:  I chose Vanguard because it was a Christian University with a good psychology department and great basketball program.  I really like the people here.
