The athlete: Horace returns to the Lions for his second and final season with the Lions?redshirted in 2005 and is hungry to get back onto the court?played a huge role as a junior and will make a major impact as a senior point guard?started in a 32 games in 2004?averaged 35.8 minutes per game?was second on the team in points and scoring average with 13.6 points per game?transferred to Vanguard from Pasadena Community College where he played his first two collegiate seasons?made two appearances on the SCC Northern All-Conference team?averaged scoring in double figures in both years?scored 37 points in a game as a freshman?made 70 three-pointers as a freshman?played basketball and ran track at John Muir High School prior to attending PCC?All-Pacific League player and team Co-MVP?high school All-Star?helped lead MHS to the PL Championship?has played the game for 17 years?5'6" point guard with a huge game?run, shoot, pass, defend, rebound and lead a team - he can do it all?one of the quickest perimeter players in the NAIA?extremely competitive and explosive with the ball?will exercise his leadership qualities in the LIONS program?outstanding person with a strong spiritual walk?senior team captain?will play a critical role as a senior leader for the Lions. Horace is one of the best things to happen to the program in a while because he makes others better around him and players want to play with him. He is on time to graduate from VUSC in May of 2006.
