The
athlete: Greg enters his second season in the men’s basketball program
at VUSC…had a solid debut after transferring last year from Hope
International…played in all 33 games, starting in 24 as a
sophomore…averaged 7.5 points per game, while shooting 43% from the
three-point line…was second on the team with 51 treys in 2006…helped
the Lions make the second NAIA National Tournament appearance in
program history… perimeter player with great basketball skills…played
in 28 games as a freshman at HIU before coming to Vanguard…was a
two-sport high school athlete at Mission Viejo in the South Coast
League…earned All-League honors and helped Coach Troy Roelew win the
2004 CIF Championship at THS…also played volleyball in high school…has
played basketball since he was in first grade…right-hander with a sweet
shot and decent foot speed…will need to pick up his role as one of only
four returners…learned a lot in his first season with the Lions…should
be ready to be a leader on and off the court as a junior in 2007…VU
needs him to be an impact player this year.

Globetrotters…hobbies are playing basketball and video games, motor
boating, and hanging out…thinks that poverty and corrupt governments
are the biggest problems in the world…would like to meet Christian
Bale…likes the friendships on his Lion team…has learned to make the
most out of life…competing in sports has taught him about teamwork,
hard work, and commitment…wants to be successful in the future.
