2025-26: In his final season and playing with his brother, Erik Howlin had his best season in his career en route to a First Team All-PacWest selection and a All-District nod as well.  He set career-highs in every category except assists, and ended as the leading scorer in the Pacific West Conference.  Starting every game and averaging 33 minutes a game, Howlin paced VU with 558 points and shot 51.9% from the field.  He shot 35.6% from downtown (36-101) and had a 136-for-177 mark from the line (76.8%).  His lowest output was the 10 points he scored against San Francisco State and Seattle Pacific, and he had 15 games of 20 or more points.  He pocketed 140 rebounds (41 O, 99 D), while collecting 61 assists, 36 steals and five blocks.  His best game was at home against CUI, when he scored 33 points with a 9-for-12 performance from the field, a 3-for-4 line from deep, and sunk 12 of his 16 attempts from the charity stripe.  On the rebound front, Howlin had a season-high 13 rebounds vs. APU and also posted a season-best five assists in the same game.

2022-25: Played for Biola.
   2024-25: The campaign saw Howlin set season-highs at home versus Vanguard in points (22), minutes (38), free-throws made and attempted (12-15 FT), and blocks (3). That game was one of four to end the season where he played at least 36 minutes. Howlin scored 10 in the PacWest Tournament versus Academy of Art and nine in the Opening Round of the NCAA West Regionals.
    2023-24: He played in one game before an injury ended his season prematurely.
    2022-23: Howlin started all 29 games, scoring double-digits 12 times that season, including a high of 23 versus Point Loma.
    

2021-22: One year at Santiago Canyon College saw Howlin earn first-team all-conference honors, scoring 14.5ppg on 50.3/38.6/73.0 splits. 

HIGH SCHOOL: At La Habra High School, he earned a pair of Freeway League titles, one as a sophomore and one as a senior. Other accolades include 1st-Team All-League, 3rd-Team All-County and La Habra Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2021.
