The athlete: Drew is back for senior campaign, his third season as a Lion?played in all 26 games as a junior, making one start?averaged 2.6 points per game?made 16 triples, shooting at a 30 percent clip?contributed as a sophomore, averaging 3.5 points per game in 27 appearances?shot 41 percent from behind the arc and 80 percent from the free-throw line?also named an NAIA Academic All-American in 09-10?came to the Lions after transferring from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington?graduated from El Toro High School where he was Sea View League MVP and a First team All-CIF player?competed for Head Coach Todd Dixon, a former standout guard and Athlete of the Year for Vanguard University, then known as Southern California College?also played volleyball?has played basketball for ten years?good shooter with deep three-point range?very good passer?smart player who knows the game well?Vanguard will need his shooting ability in 2010.

Coach Soliday's Comments: Drew is a smart player who has done a great job preparing for his senior season. He wants to have a good year and his ability to shoot the three will give him a great chance to find time on the wing.
