The athlete: Dennis is the only four-year senior on the Lions team…team captain again…an All-GSAC selection last season…a very talented basketball player who can drive, shoot, or pass…is one of the best perimeter players in the GSAC…excellent defender who shows great anticipation when playing in the help position…one of the hardest workers on the team…talent combined with the fact that he’s a three-year starter at VU makes him a natural leader for this team.

The person: Dennis was born in Oberlin, Ohio on September 2, 1977 to Jerry and Peggy Keane…nickname is Dane…majoring in Communications…loves seafood and the TV show “Friends”…favorite athlete is Pete Rose…team of choice is the Detroit Lions…enjoys writing, reading and hanging out with friends…has learned in life to count his blessings…athletics has taught him to pay attention to detail…eventually wants to become a producer.

His thoughts: I selected Vanguard University for the location.  I found that I really enjoy the environment and the people on campus.
